Make Your eBook Available on Read A Writer
- Upload Your Book
From the main page, select "List Your Book."
Enter the title and description.
Set your price and fill in any required details.
Upload your ebook file and cover image then select Submit.
- Activate Your Book Listing
Open the Menu and select "Apply Credits."
Find your uploaded book in the list and activate it using your available credits.
- Ensure Listing Eligibility
Your book will only appear in the catalog if:
- You have an available credit on Read A Writer from the purchase of a book or from leaving a review.
- Your book complies with platform guidelines.
- Confirm Visibility
Once activated and eligible, your book will be listed and available for purchase by other users.
Leave a Review
To locate the book you want to review, use the search button or browse the catalog (near the middle of the home page).
Click on the number of reviews displayed for the book. This will open the review section.
You can only leave a review if:
- You purchased the book on Read A Writer.
- You are not the book's author.
- You haven’t reviewed the book previously.
If eligible, a text box will appear for you to enter your review. Provide your feedback and a star rating, then click Submit to post your review.
Leaving reviews helps fellow authors gain visibility and encourages engagement within the Read A Writer community!
Boost Your Book
Regularly buy and review other authors' books to earn credits. Credits can be used to boost your title's position in search results. Each credit applied to a book boosts the title's visibility for 30 days. Purchasing a book earns 3 credits. Reviewing a book earns 1 credit.
Extend Your Books Active Status
Regularly buy and review other authors' books to earn credits. Credits can be used to extend your title's listing. Each credit applied to a book extends the listing for 30 days. Purchasing a book earns 3 credits. Reviewing a book earns 1 credit.
Find Your Referral Code
Access Settings under the Menu option.
Your referral code can be found toward the top right of your Profile page.
Copy your unique referral code to share with others.
Update Your Book's Details
From the Menu select My Books.
Select Edit next to the book you wish to edit.
Update the necessary information and submit your changes.
Delete a Book
From the Menu select My Books.
Select Delete next to the book you wish to delete.
Confirm your choice.
Suspend/Resume a Book
To temporarily hide or unhide a book, from the Menu, select My Books.
Choose the option to suspend or resume the desired book. Any remaining days that were available when the book was suspended, will be restored upon resuming the listing.
Delete Your Member Account
From the Menu, select Settings.
Select the option to delete your account and confirm your decision.
Change Your User Settings
From the Menu, select Settings.
Modify your user settings as needed and submit the changes.
